We have received many emails from all over the world expressing their sorrow for the victims of the violent earthquake that struck Abruzzo, Italy. We got in touch with the YFUW and the Focolare Movement in Abruzzo and they told us that all are alive even though some of them have lost their homes and all their possessions.
For those wishing to donate warm clothing, jackets, etc… for the cold weather, they may send these goods through Caritas. Anyone wishing to assist the elderly by going to the spot, they may get in touch with the prefecture of Pescara.
As “Youth for a United World” we wish to launch a worldwide FUND RAISING ACTIVITY in order to cover the basic needs.
